Convenience lamp

 I have two, one painted black, one plated.  The lens is marked Sparto ref: 5832.   I believe it is the same as the fascia lamp on the early midget, not a rare part.

It uses a 39mm festoon lamp, this will be replaced with a led equivalent.  Perhaps that won’t melt the lens or the wire….

So the black was a plated aluminum unit (S1 maybe?) and the other plated steel.  I refurbished the steel one, despite the additional weight!
